Our ultimate policy is your complete satisfaction. Nothing would please us more than to know that your experience with SewZanne's was positive.
Our return policy is that if within 30 days a product does not stand up to your expectation of quality you are entitled to a full refund of the product. If reason for return is other than defective merchandise, you may be subject to a 15% restocking fee and the cost of shipping.
You may request sample swatches if you are unsure if the fabric is right for your needs. (four swatches at no charge, there may be a $1.00 each charge thereafter)
Special and clearance items sales are final. Patterns must be uncut and unopened. Fabric must be unwashed, undyed. Magazines are not returnable.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Paypal. (We no longer accept money orders) U.S. Funds only. You can use Discover or American Express through the Paypal system.
Reminder: No need to run your credit card through PayPal, just to share 2.9% with them. You can use your credit card on our site. But, For your convenience: PayPal payments can be submitted directly to paypal(at)sewzannesfabrics.com
Coupon codes may be disabled at times when we run certain promotions. If your coupon provides you a better deal than our current promotion, we will honor whichever is the best deal for you.
Currently, we use the major ground shipping providers to ensure speedy and reliable service to your front door. Our preferred providers are Fedex and US Priority mail. A physical address is required for all orders (not just po box). Please indicate any special instructions on the order form.
The shipping chart is for the continental US. Orders for Hawaii, Alaska may recieve an additional charge of $5. for shipping and handling.(This is not always necessary but may be added to cover shipping charges that may relate to your order.)
International Orders
For international orders you will be emailed the shipping and handling charges when your order ships. Understand that placing your order acknowledges your commitment to cover shipping charges. We must cut and pack your order so we can accurately calculate shipping. We agree... Shipping is expensive! We make every effort to use the most reasonable method possible. We ship USPS Global Priority. This includes a tracking #. To calculate estimated shipping. Go to www.usps.com. Postage calculator. Use: "one lb = 1 yd of fabric", this is fairly accurate for most fabrics. Add one pound for the box and it will give you an estimated shipping cost. NO handling charge is applied for USPS Global Priority, however a $5.00 handling fee may be applied if an alternative shipping method is required.
If your International order is delayed it will be 90 days before a refund can be issued for any undelivered package.
We will not indicate "gift" on the package, or claim the shipment is of a lesser than actual value.
Customs or duty charges may be added and be due in your particular country. Those charges are NOT reflected in our shipping amounts and they are the sole responsibility of the person placing the order.
We see that the package gets to the shipper and will help track as possible, but we cannot be held responsible for lost packages.

Our rate chart is now weight based. Generally, the average fabric weights are as follows: Wovens 1/2 lb, Knits= .99 lb, Velour = 1.5 lbs, Burly Knit Terry = 1.9 lbs, PUL = .75. If you load up your cart and add your shipping information you can see the shipping charges as driven by our approximate product weights.

California residents pay 7.5% sales tax. On both the purchase and shipping and handling.
We are happy to offer APO/FPO Shipping via USPS Priority mail only. You will be contacted with the shipping amount after your order is completed.
We currently have a one yard minimum and sell in full yard increments on all fabric orders.
Why don't you ship First Class?
Answer: ...Because it's slow!...It does not include delivery confirmation. Our philosophy has been that it's better to have that product in your hands in a couple of days ...rather than to be waiting by the mailbox a week or so later. We realize that not everyone will feel the same way about this. Our intention is to provide the closest thing to 'downloadable fabric' as possible. Our technicians are working at discovering new methods, but the last time they tried to stuff velour in the fax machine, it was a mess! ;o)
